With the “One Team” SDV project a new phase of cooperation began for VAIVA and our customer, a large OEM. The goal: to take the development of the next generation of driver assistance and safety functions within the software defined vehicle (SDV) to a new level. All for efficient, integrated functions that are consistently geared towards series production. The transition to SDVs creates a completely new development logic. Vehicle functions are developed holistically, comprehensively and scalably on several platforms. At the same time, complexity is growing dramatically, especially in the safety-critical areas of Active Safety and Assisted Parking. VAIVA acts as an integral part of the customers’ engineering factory structure. Pilot functions in our responsibility are “Evasive Assistance” and the “Rear Emergency Braking”. In parallel we act as strong interface to development partners.
